Olympian Lolo Jones has hinted that she is ready to retire - telling DailyMail.com that she is focusing on more 'peaceful' things in her life, after opening up about how still being a virgin at age 40 has 'killed her love life'.
The 40-year-old athlete, originally from Iowa, has become one of the most accomplished hurdlers in the world throughout her decades-long career.
But she has now suggested that she is preparing to take a step back from the track as she instead focuses on 'things that are peaceful.'
Speaking to DailyMail.com about how she gets away from the intensity of the spotlight, she said: 'I usually take a few breaks. I take breaks off of social media. I try to recharge my system by reading.'
The athlete went on by noting that she's focusing her energies on finding 'peace' in her life - comparing herself to NFL legend Tom Brady in the lead-up to his retirement and hinting that she is ready to follow the same path.
'Right now I'm currently gardening,' she shared. 'I know it seems super weird, but I'm just trying to do things that are peaceful. I tell everybody I'm on a day-by-day plan.
'I'm on the Tom Brady retirement plan before he actually retired.'

Being a virgin does NOT kill a love life, it simply prevents weeds from entering your life. Saving herself is a beautiful thing because it requires patience, obedience, faith, self control, morals, and trust in God. If she stops being hyper focused on that one thing she will meet a guy. Every guy I ever met never pressured me for sex and they knew I was Christian. So, there is someone out here for her but her issue is that she has to meet them outside of sports because athletes and entertainers are notoriously immoral. Lol Location is everything. I was very shy and living in an area where the men sucked. Lol. I went online and have been married 20 years. I was too shy to meet the traditional way. Im happy, and I was a virgin. The only downside to being a virgin is whorish people with no self control think you are wierd.
10:34, things probably worked out for you because you seem to probably be a nice person. Lolo seems like an entitled, privileged a-hole, and THAT'S probably HER ISSUE - NOT being a 40 PLUS year old virgin.
I believe that she made her virginity her personality. It overshadow everything she do.
