Nice.

We take over anything they do. That's why they try to keep us out.

B*tch, drop the album or shut up. I hate when people do that. I'm not even a fan of hers, but stop talking about what you're "gonna do" and do it already.

Actually, i don’t really want to hear r&b singers singing country music unless they can really twang the right way. Texas Hold ‘Em is cute and fun just like that Old Town Road song was. I enjoyed them both but, my country taste is real and when I’m in the mood for Dixie Chicks (my fav), Carrie Underwood, Reba, Martina, Lady A, Faith, I’m not adding Beyoncé and this one to the playlist. Whatever they release it may show up on some country stations but they will still be on r&b stations too which means, it ain’t today’s country.

I was shocked by how amazing K's country music is! I've never listened to her r&b because I just didn't care for newer singers, but she can saaaang country music very well! Beyonce isn't really giving country, but K is. Country to me is Loretta, Dolly, George, and Conway. I don't like modern country. So, I'm feeling K because she's giving it.

@10:33 You sound just like a tether. This is why Comprehensive Black American history is important to be taught in schools. The truth is black people started country music. Black people are the originators of country music in the United States. More specifically, the story of country begins with the banjo. The modern-day banjo is a descendant of a West African instrument, made from gourds, called the Akonting.

I wish her all the success, I need my Nubian sisters to let those tragic blond hair hats go.

in our world she would be the queen of country. That is all

She looks unrecognizable. But yes, she needs to release her country album.. I didn’t realize she made country music because the few songs I do put in my playlist from her are RnB songs. K Michelle will make a whole RnB album and attach maybe 1 or 2 country songs. I guess that’s a thing amongst some artist. Rihanna makes pop music with 1 or 2 dancehall songs on her albums, and Destiny’s Child would do the same with gospel music. I’m here for it.

Good 4 her. Beyodel's song sucks.

Better than Beyonce. By far

@10:46 What does anything you just said have anything to do with what @10:43 said?
The person didn't say anything about who the originators were, the person just mentioned what their tastes were.
Some people be sounding so pressed, like they have an imaginary foot on there kneck.
let it go already.

K. Michelle can sing her butt off in country music. I love how effortlessly she sings. It isn’t forced. Also, giving her backup singers shine is cool. Many of the top singers came from being backup singer’s for other greats. I’m loving this K. Michelle! ❤️

Thank you 12:13, says this 10:43 who has a degree in African and African American Studies, which included an American History Black Music 101 class.
Pressed is the word bc 10:46 is not relevant. Let it go

Hidden History Lesson 101 Continued… When enslaved persons were taken from Africa to America, their instruments came with them. For four hundred years, enslaved Foundational Black Americans created their own music, hymns, spirituals, and field songs—all with roots in African music. Accordingly, in the 1840s, the banjo was seen as an exclusively Foundational Black American instrument; it was unheard of for a white person to play the banjo.

Obsessed with banjoes huh? Country music today doesn’t require a banjo, by the way.
