Tyler Perry Never Paid Viral Star for Christmas Movie Cameo

Fourteen years ago Antoine Dodson went viral after a home intruder tried to assault his sister in Huntsville, AL leading to a cameo in 'Tyler Perry's A Madea Christmas [click here if you missed that].'

Two weeks ago comedian Mo'Nique sat down with Shannon Sharpe to air her issues with Tyler Perry [click here if you missed that], inspiring Dodson to admit he too was mistreated by the movie mogul...

He thought he ate. Number one, I thought he renounced his gay and became straight (including a wife and baby)? Anywho, I watched this movie about a month ago, and when I tell yall he was in that movie less than 20 seconds! Like they were walking PAST him in the shot while he was giving another news "interview". The "Ain't Got Time for That" lady was in it too. What I didn't hear him mention is anything about a contract...not even a verbal promise so that's on him for not securing his bag.

Tyler just toss him a 5,000 check so he will Stfu.

In Alabama 5k should last him at least 1 year LOL

I don't have much to add to his complaints because he can take it up with the labor department. But, I ran the video and another one autoplayed. Someone asked him what was his favorite breed of dog. He said, "A hood nigga!" Too funny.

Tyler Perry told him to show up, and he did. He should have ironed out transportation and pay, on his own and up front. A quick scene in a movie can take all day to film, I'll acknowledge that. But if he jumped in a car (on his own) and negotiated pay, that's on him.

He didn't "negotiate" anything. Brother was told to show up and he did. People who are told to show up are usually paid something. He didn't know how this works so he assumed a check would be in the mail. No more to it than that.

Speaking of Atlanta: the IG account @anecdotalatl is blocking Black ppl who ask why he's ignoring Black History Month. If you feel frosty, head on over there and ask him why he thinks he can speak on Atlanta History and ignore Black History

Alabama isn't cheap. Sales tax is high.

When will we learn that people who are billionaires become billionaires by underpaying and not-paying the people who work for them?

Hide yo wife hide yo kids ...😂

^^Exactly, millionaires/billionaires do not give their money away. They are the cheapest and most stingy folks on earth. I'm a personal assistant to a millionaire and he will not pay full price for anything. He will negotiate a mf down to their bone marrow.

No capitalism without exploitation.

The average daily salary for a movie extra is between 100-200 dollars a day( it can also be 0 dollars depending). 'Tyler Perry's A Madea Christmas' came out in 2013.

Not having all the facts , one should take what someone says with a grain of salt. JS

It's been listed as one of the top 3 cheapest states to live in for the past 15 years! It's not perfect but compared to most states its pretty cheap. Stop nitpicking...

Antoine Dodson must be on that stuff again because he is always having money problems. Just a year or two ago, his mother died and he was on youtube asking people to donate to a gofundme for her funeral. This is after he claimed he was rich. Now he's complaining he didn't get paid from an old Tyler Perry movie that he was in literally for a quick second cameo. Either you contractually agreed to a dollar amount or you're @&!# out of luck.

Tyler, pay this man his money. I’m sure it’s peanuts. Just bad business practice all around. So what it was 20 seconds. He paid his own transportation and meals. Just pay him for his services! This is just taking advantage of him at this point.
