King Charles Canceled

Last month there were reports that Gayle King and Charles Barkley's CNN talk show, "King Charles," was struggling badly in the ratings [click here if you missed that].

Now CNN has pulled the plug...

From CNN
King Charles, CNN‘s once-a-week talker featuring Gayle King and Charles Barkley, ended last week with no plans to extend the limited series.
The show averaged about a half-million viewers in its debut but trailed its rivals in its 10 p.m. ET time slot on Wednesdays. It was announced as a limited-run series to begin with, featuring two high-profile personalities in conversation about major events and cultural moments.
King continues as co-host of CBS Mornings, while Barkley has a deal as a sports analyst with Warner Bros. Discovery.

I enjoy Gayle but I can't watch Charles.

I tried to watch for about 2 minutes. Charles is not primetime ready. Stick to sports.

Why would anyone think two oddballs would make a great show? They both think they're more exciting and interesting than they are. This show was a hard pass for me and I would deliberately turn to another channel whenever they were on. They put the A in annoying.
