Sir Charles Gets Jail Time

Charles Barkley is going to have to do 5 days in jail, maybe 10, after pleading guilty to drunken-driving charges in Scottsdale, Ariz. If you recall, Sir Charles got arrested after running a stop sign and refusing to take a breathalizer test once he was pulled over. At the time, CB told cops he was in a hurry to get a blow job, claiming the girl he was going to see had given him the best bj he'd ever had and that he was in a hurry to see her. Charles was sentenced to 10 days in jail -- but will only do five if he completes an alcohol education program. Chuck was also fined $2,000. It is not clear if he will serve his time in Arizona's 'Tent City' jail, where rapper DMX is currently cooling his heels.
Charles took a six-week leave of absence from his basketball analyst job with TNT but returned recently after apologizing for the incident. "I think that a DUI is unacceptable," he stated. "That can't happen and I've got to challenge other people, not just celebrities or jocks. You have to really think before getting behind the wheel after you've been drinking."
Barkley, 45, had a blood-alcohol level of .149 percent, nearly twice the legal limit of .08 percent in Arizona when he was pulled over.

All He Wanted Was A Little Help

When Charles Barkley got pulled over for DUI last night, he told the cops the reason he ran that stop sign was because he was in a hurry to get a BJ from his passenger. According to the officer who wrote the report, "He told me that he ran the stop sign because he was in a hurry to pick up the girl I saw get in the passenger seat. He asked me to admit that she was 'hot.' He asked me, 'You want the truth?' When I told him I did he said, 'I was gonna drive around the corner and get a bj. He then explained that she had given him a 'bj' one week earlier and said it was the best one he had ever had in his life."

Charles Barkley Sued by Wynn Casino Over Gambling Debts

In Feburary '07 Charles Barkley, after losing 2.5 million dollars in a six hour period, told reporters, "It's a stupid, bad habit. I have a problem. But the problem is when you can't afford it. I can afford to gamble. I didn't kill myself when I lost two and half million dollars … I like to gamble and I'm not going to quit." Ok, well how come he owes The Wynn hotel and casino $400,000.00 in unpaid gambling debts? The situation got so bad The Wynn filed suit against Charles and the Clark County DA says if Barkley doesn't pay up, he could be charged with a felony. After the story hit the national media outlets, Charles responded by saying, "My mistake. I'm not broke, and I'm going to take care of it."
