Michelle Obama Skipping the Inauguration

Last week Michelle Obama was conspicuously absent from former President Jimmy Carter's funeral [click here if you missed that]. 

She won't be at Donald Trump's inauguration either...

Former first lady Michelle Obama will not be attending President-elect Donald Trump's inauguration next week.

“Former President Barack Obama is confirmed to attend the 60th Inaugural Ceremonies. Former first lady Michelle Obama will not attend the upcoming inauguration,” the Office of Barack and Michelle Obama said in a statement.

No reason was given for her absence.
