Tony Buzbee Barred from Practicing in the Southern District of New York

Last week Houston attorney Tony Buzbee quietly withdrew his civil lawsuit against Bad Boy Entertainment CEO, Sean 'Diddy' Combs, and Jay Z after very publicly accusing them of rxping a 13-year-old girl at an afterparty for the 2000 MTV Video Music Awards [click here if you missed that].

Now Buzbee has been barred from practicing in the Southern District of New York, throwing his other cases against Diddy in jeopardy...

His lawsuit against Jay-Z is dismissed and not coming back, and now Tony Buzbee is trying to ensure he can keep litigating his other lawsuits against Diddy because his admission application in the Southern District of New York was denied. pic.twitter.com/NuKOU7R38W

After the news went viral Buzbee tried to say it wasn't true by claiming he could still practice in New York, which he can, but not in the Southern District of New York which is federal court.

Buzbee posted proof of his admission in New York State courts on Instagram today.

It does not include admission to the federal Southern District of New York, which is where most of his lawyers against Sean “Diddy” Combs are filed. As the top post says, the SDNY won’t admit him. pic.twitter.com/9Ur9bFgdNJ
