The Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta family has lost one of its own.
Khadiyah "KD" Lewis died on May 30 at age 44, her brother Jamaal "Jay" Lewis shared. A cause of death has not been disclosed.
"This has been an extremely emotionally devastating time," he told The Shade Room in a June 5 statement. "All prayers, condolences, and well wishes are sincerely appreciated."
Khadiyah's younger brother Elijah Inegbedion also spoke out about her passing, writing on Facebook in a tribute to the reality star, "Been at a lost for words for some days now. And to think that I’ll ever have the words to describe the person you’ve been and the legacy that you left behind would be erroneous."
"Long Live my sister Khadiyah Lewis," he continued. "You left behind a legacy most individuals can only dream of. Thank you for loving me the way you did and always having my back no matter what."
Elijah added, "God blessed me when he made me your baby brother and for that I am eternally thankful. You are forever on my mind and in my heart. I love you!"

I remember that episode and it's just as cringe now as it was then. Gone too soon and I'm sure if she knew her days would be this short she would've conducted herself better. Choose wisely and protect your legacy ladies.
Every single night. she was funny. she'll be missed.
"I know my man gets around--and so do you."
"The only person I get around with is your man."
"So you're effing my man?"
"I absolutely am. Every night."
I know this stuff is all kinds of fake but that was so funny. I'll admit I watched this show for the first few seasons. It was hilarious.
RIP, Khadiyah. You gave me plenty of laughs.
💔
RIP and condolences to everyone who loved her.
