Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson aims to take Fox Nation viewers behind the scene of a crime.
The actor, rapper and producer will host “50 Ways to Catch a Killer,” a new six-part documentary series for Fox Nation, the streaming service aligned with Fox News Media. Each episode will take viewers inside the process of how investigative crime teams solve real-life murder mysteries. The series debuts September 16, with two new episodes set to be unveiled each week through the end of the month.
“We are thrilled to partner with Curtis ’50 Cent’ Jackson to bring his distinctive voice and perspective to this gripping investigative series,” said Jason Klarman, chief digital officer and chief marketing officer of Fox News Media, in a statement. “With his cultural influence and talent for storytelling, he offers a front-row seat to the dogged investigations that lead to justice.”
Each episode puts a spotlight on a special tactic, insight or piece of evidence that leads investigators to an arrest or conviction. The cases, which include a tale of Connecticut detectives trying to solve a murder committed as part of a home invasion, or a story of Maryland investigators trying to find a teacher who goes missing on the first day of school, were selected by Jackson, who will end each program with an update on the defendants.
“True crime is powerful because it’s real cases, real people, and real justice,” said Jackson, in a statement. “With this series, I want viewers to experience the intensity of these investigations and the relentless work it takes to uncover the truth. We’re bringing these stories to life in a way that’s both gripping and authentic.”
