Cardi B's Bestie Speaks on Light RICO Sentence


Four years ago rapper Cardi B's childhood best friend Star Brim was arrested on RICO charges after being accused of being the godmother of the 5-9 Brims gang [click here if you missed that].

This week Star was sentenced to one year behind bars after accepting a plea deal, and thanks Cardi for paying for her lawyer, denies being listed on anybody's paperwork and tells everyone who picked a side to stay there...

Victim Claims Diddy Shot Her Not Shyne


Back in 2011 Bad Boy Entertainment CEO Sean 'Diddy' Combs and rapper Shyne Barrow settled the lawsuit filed against them by the woman who was injured in the club shooting during that infamous night in 1999 when Diddy, Jennifer Lopez and Shyne went out to celebrate Shyne signing to Bad Boy, two days after Christmas [click here if you missed that].

Now the woman who was shot is claiming music producer Rod Jones' recent lawsuit against Diddy [click here if you missed that], backs up her stedfast claims that it was Diddy who shot he that night, not Shyne...

Jam Master Jay Trial Ends in Guilty Verdict


Last month the long awaited murder trial for two men accused of gunning down RUN DMC DJ Jam Master Jay back in 2002, kicked off in Brooklyn Federal Court [click here if you missed that].

Jam Master Jay's own godson, Karl Jordan Jr, 40, and his childhood friend, Ronald Washington, 59, have both been found guilty on all counts...

Prosecutor Calls Jussie Smollet Agreement Imaginary


Five years ago Cook County prosecutor Kim Foxx dropped all 16 charges filed against actor Jussie Smollett, in a plea deal that included community service and no jail time, for staging a hate crime hoax in Chicago [click here if you missed that].

The deal was later thrown out after Jussie used the mild sentence to claim he'd been exonerated, triggering the appointment of a special prosecutor [click here if you missed that]. 

Now the special prosecutor is arguing that Jussie claiming he had a deal in place shielding him from prosecution is "imaginary..."
