Luther Campbell Sued for Back Child Support

Luther Campbell is being sued by his baby mama for $40,000 in back child support, even though the child in question is now 20 years old. Davania Branch Burns, a 41-year-old fire inspector, and her 20-year-old daughter, Lutheria Campbell, live near Orlando and Davania's lawyer says, "'We want him to stand up and not be a deadbeat daddy. He needs to do the right thing. He needs to take care of his child. Why should he not pay? The ordinary working man has to pay." Drivers with delinquent support obligations can have their license suspended under Florida law. Davania has filed court papers requesting that be done until Uncle Luke pays what he owes her daughter.

Toni Braxton Cancels Shows

Four more Toni Braxton shows have been canceled as she recuperates following her hospitalization with chest pain. "We're going to go ahead and cancel her shows tonight and for the rest of the week," Flamingo Las Vegas hotel-casino and Harrah's Entertainment Inc. spokeswoman Deanna Pettit said Wednesday. "We expect she'll return to the stage next Tuesday." Pettit says the 40-year-old Grammy winner is recovering at home following her release Tuesday afternoon after precautionary tests at a Las Vegas area hospital.

Toni Braxton Heart Scare

Las Vegas head liner Toni Braxton was admitted to St. Rose Dominican Hospital after she began having heart palpitations sometime after her Monday night show at the Flamingo. She was released yesterday afternoon.
Toni has an existing heart condition called pericarditis, which causes an inflammation of the sac surrounding the heart.
Toni’s Tuesday show was cancelled and today was a scheduled off day for her, but she is expected back to work at the end of the week.
