Don King Selling His Beach Front Compound

Don King put his oceanfront estate in Manalapan, FL up for sale, saying that at age 77, it's time to downsize. The compound sits on 3 acres and includes a main and guest house spread out over 32,000 square feet. The property comes with an 8ft replica of the Statue of Liberty in the front yard, 11 bedrooms and 17 bathrooms, 300 feet of waterfront on both sides and two resort-style pools, each with enough space for up to 80 people. There’s a 10-foot drop to the beach with automatic stairs that let down when you’re on the sand, and lift back up when you’re at the house so that no one can come up from the ocean plus, it has a generator plant for hurricanes. There's also an outdoor grill by one of the pools big enough for 100 slabs of ribs. King paid 13 million for the two lots in 1999 and is now asking for 27 million.

TNT Shows Barkley The Door

In the wake of his latest DUI scandal, Charles Barkley will be taking several weeks leave of absence from his job with TNT. Barkley, who was pulled over in Scottsdale, AZ for running a stop sign, refused to take a breathalyzer test at the scene. However, blood tests later showed his blood alcohol level at .149, nearly twice the legal limit. At the time of his arrest, Sir Charles told officers he was in a hurry to get a blow job.

R&B singer R. Kelly and his wife of 11 years, Andrea Lee Kelly, are officially divorced, according to a statement from their lawyers Thursday. Kelly, 42, and Andrea, 35, will have joint custody of their three children. No other details were revealed.

New Lawsuit For Dwyane Wade

Remember when NBA All-Star Dwyane Wade closed his namesake restaurant chain before it even opened and filed a lawsuit against his partners for mis-management? Well D Wade's ex-partners have filed another suit against him, in addition to the suit they've already filed claiming Wade never promoted the restaurant. The partners are now claiming D Wade refused to show up at any of the openings because the partners would not re-negotiate their original contact. After signing the deal, D Wade decided he wanted 30% of the business instead of the 10% he agreed to and he also wanted them to hire his father at $50,000.00 a year and one of his childhood friends at $75,000.00 a year per restaurant [they'd planned to open 30 of them]. When the partners balked, Dwyane stopped cooperating. A source familiar with the case said: “They actually tried to have the partners sign a new contract that was unacceptable. Dwyane tried to have us pay his dad to do nothing.” And if they didn’t renegotiate? According to the lawsuit, Wade's lawyers told the partner's lawyer's: “You can either have a happy Dwyane, or an unhappy Dwyane!”

When contacted by a Miami newspaper, Wade's people said, “We would’ve helped with anything they wanted. I was going to be Dwyane’s eyes and ears in the restaurants. They were real jobs. Plus, they initiated everything and now they turn it around. They’re trying to make Dwyane look like the bad guy who’s shaking them down. That’s not the truth.”

Anyway, throughout the Bravo reality series, Sheree, who bragged about never having to shop on a budget, went on and on about how she was out to wrangle a 7 figure settlement out of Bob. Well, this coming Monday ReRe is taking her plea all the way to the Georgia Supreme Court, and guess why she thinks she's entitled to over a million dollars after only 3 years [and 2 kids] of marriage [well technically Bob and Sheree were married for 7 years but they separated after 3]? Her low level education. Sheree's lawyer says because Sheree only has a high school diploma there is no way she can get a job making the kind of money she requires to maintain the style of living she's accustomed to.
