Very sad. Seems like in the music industry you gotta either sell your soul to become a m/billionaire or work your butt off just to make ends meet. Pure, unadulterated art is often ignored. She learned her craft in school and didn't shake it on stage to make it. Po thang. Can't help her but God bless her. She should ask Will Downing for a few stacks if he got it.

If you’re asking people for financial support, it’d be nice if you could at least tell them what it’s for.

This person asking for money on Rachelle's behalf but not telling us what's going on and what happened. I learned from that Apple Watts situation when she got into that really bad car accident. Her sister went to social media asking the public to contribute to her gofundme as Apple stayed in the hospital unconscious. Apple finally woke up and said her sister took all of her money and left her with nothing. I will no longer arbitrarily give money to some shadowy account and without any information. Hard pass!

Working adults should plan for retirement as early as possible. Even if a person is relatively young and/or healthy, keeping an interest-bearing account that can't be easily accessed is always a good idea.
If I'm not mistaken, she's had some mental health challenges in the past and she also had back issues. But still, they can offer more insight. Don't ask for money and then not tell the donors what it will go towards.

Another friend had mentioned Rachelle's tribute to Natalie Cole on the Soul Train Awards years back, and I was amazed because I too, was floored by her awesome performance she and Deborah Cox both did a super job. I pray she gets the help she needs.
Someone check the books, receipts, tour dates, album sales, ticket sales, accounts, the CPA's account and find out where the money is. This doesn't make sense. I really need her to be well. I remember when she had me replaying her Soul Train tribute performance to Natalie Cole over and over again !! She and Deborah Cox were amazing. They had Natalie RIP in tears.
