Anthony Anderson Awarded Cemetery Plot in Divorce Settlement

Last year actor Anthony Anderson's divorce from his college sweetheart, Alvina Anderson, was all but final except for one sticking point, a family plot in the Inglewood Park Cemetery [click here if you missed that].

Now, instead of selling the plot and splitting the proceeds, the plot has been awarded to Anthony.

Divorce is always sad and ugly but at least now, when the time comes, there won't be any burial disputes like the long drawn out James Brown and Sherman Helmsley debacles [click here and here if you missed that]...

From Radar Online

Anthony Anderson’s ex-wife Alvina handed over the rights to a cemetery plot in Los Angeles to the actor as part of their divorce settlement.
According to court documents obtained by RadarOnline.com, Alvina agreed that Anthony should be awarded the cemetery plot at Inglewood Park Cemetery “described as Lot #8 Double Graves A, B, C & D with One Monument Space Memorial Vista Plot.”

Anthony and Alvina, who met at Howard University in 1989, were married for 27-years and share two adult children.

^^^Some people will fight over anything when it comes to a divorce or a death. I have seen people fight over the pettiest and non-sensical things. Divorce and death just brings out the vulture in people.
