Colin Kaepernick Documentary Not Coming Out

Last month former NFL player Colin Kaepernick's outspoken wife, radio host Nessa Diab, claimed that Colin's new documentary would expose Jay Z and Roc Nation for sabotaging Colin's efforts to get back in the NFL, after he was blacklisted for kneeling during the National Anthem to protest police brutality [click here if you missed that].

Now the documentary has been shelved...

From Reuters
Director Spike Lee's multi-part documentary series for ESPN Films about former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick, who sparked a national debate when he protested racial injustice nearly a decade ago, will not be released, the filmmaker and ESPN said.
"ESPN, Colin Kaepernick and Spike Lee have collectively decided to no longer proceed with this project as a result of certain creative differences," ESPN said in a statement to Reuters on Saturday.
"Despite not reaching finality, we appreciate all the hard work and collaboration that went into this film." Lee told Reuters on Friday that the series was not going to be released.
"It's not coming out. That's all I can say," Lee said on the red carpet ahead of the Harold and Carole Pump Foundation dinner, a fundraiser for cancer research and treatment, in Beverly Hills, California.
Asked why, the Oscar-winning director declined to elaborate, citing a nondisclosure agreement. "I can't. I signed a nondisclosure. I can't talk about it."

Colin can go to someone else with bigger balls and make this film all over again. I'm surprised Spike made this film knowing he's sucking up J's @$$. LOLO

Why did Spike sign the NDA? Did he get paid? Was he recouping his investment? Something else? Whassup with this?

Tha’s okay. Colin has a story of his own to tell and we’ll hear it as soon as he and Nessa get it together.

blame Nessa big mouth self

I can't see any truth coming out under the auspices of ESPN. Spike and Colin probably ended it when they were required to compromise.

Silenced by the System

All that work for nothing.

They shut that down!

They cited - creative differences.
In other words Spike and Colin did not get along.
It happens.

ESPN shelved it because Colin and Spike couldn’t get it together. The project was supposed to be from Colin’s pov but I get the feeling his common law wife had something to do with their issues. You know Colin lives vicariously through her mouth piece.

Colin took a settlement and needs to move on.

Why is this loser still in the news? He was an overhyped player just like Tebow who drained all the fun out of football.

Recognize the politics of sports.

This is the second NDA Colin has signed. Just collecting bags, signing NDAs and playing the martyr.
