R.I.P. Jesse Jackson

Civil Rights leader, Rev. Jesse Jackson, has died age 84...

From NPR
The Rev. Jesse Jackson, an American civil rights leader, minister, and politician, who was a protégé of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and in the 1980s reshaped Democratic politics with two galvanizing presidential campaigns, died Tuesday at the age of 84.
"Our father was a servant leader — not only to our family, but to the oppressed, the voiceless, and the overlooked around the world," the Jackson family said in a statement. "We shared him with the world, and in return, the world became part of our extended family."
According to the Jackson family, public commemorations will take place in Chicago.

I appreciate every fearless step he made. He helped to lead us out of the Jim Crow segregation laws. I wonder who will help lead us out of the Project 2025 laws.

RIP King

Maybe we can stop using the inaccurate term African American now. Put it to rest.

Complicated, indeed. I’ve got some good tea on the Reverend but I’ll save it for another day.

Im waiting for the news to comment on him calling NYC hi-mee town when he was running for United States president and the out of wedlock child wanting full acknowledgement with coins from last will and testament. Controversy indeed.
